I purchased an occasional chair in Fort Wayne IN and it had to be made. It took a long time and by the time I could pick it up I was moving and did not even remove the package until I was in my new city in Ohio 4 hours away. The chair had a horrible seam down the middle of the back of the chair and the company refused to help get the chair back for repair and sent me the fabric so that I could take the chair at my own expense to have it recovered!

So dissapointed. After waiting 8 weeks our sectional arrived. The cushions were not velcro'd as shown in the showroom and the spacing from cushion to cushion had gaps. The stitching was crooked on the back and there were wear spots along the back where the vinyl fabric was tucked in. The footrest on the recliner was also vinyl and had spots where the vinyl was wearing. We paid $4200. The left arm had a gap that you could see the wall behind standing back. Not a quality piece. Refused.

Can you use the herringbone design called 'Colonist' on a sofa with a cuddler at either end?

Our sofa fabric was defective with dry rot so you said (through our salesperson at Front Room Furnishings) that you would replace it. It is a 'Conversation' sofa consisting of a cuddler on each end and one straight piece in the center. Will there be the possibility of a problem dealing with the pattern called 'Colonist', a herringbone, in this sofa design? We were thinking of the rounded areas around the back-sides specifically for matching. I know you are experts in upholstering and we certainly appreciate your guidance and feel pretty certain you will say its ok. Hickorycraft sofa and loveseat

I wanted to purchase American-made furniture. Hickorycraft had just the style I wanted in a sofa and loveseat. I love the traditional styling and the fabrics they had to offer. After ordering my sofa and loveseat, I was pleasantly surprised because they were delivered way before the date it was estimated they would be delivered. I didn't find a single thing to complain about. The fabric I chose was a striped and floral design which was matched perfectly on every area of the furniture. The quality was even more than I expected! I was happy they had a cotton blend fabric like the one I chose. Yes, I would buy Hickorycraft furniture again! Candy, Dickson City,PA

Still no sectional

After 11 weeks of waiting, still no sectional. They said that one of the fabrics for a pillow was backordered. So instead of contacting me to possible use a different fabric, they delayed production of the sectional that we ordered 11 weeks ago. We still have no word if the sectional is finished or at what point it is going to be shipped. I would never order from this company again. Their communication skills don't exist. After 9 weeks I started checking on why we had not heard one thing. It took another 1 1/2 weeks before I heard anything. They gave the story about the pillow fabric and said that only the fabric had been cut to make the sofa. Now we still have no word as to when the sofa will arrive.Sad

Letting you know about a fabric on back order is on the furniture store sales person not Hickory Craft. I keep in touch with all my customers every couple of weeks with progress.

Even the hand made Mennonites have issues but have always taken care of the customer. in the 3 years we have had them in our store like every brand there are mistakes but they have always made it right for us.

I ordered a sectional 9 1/2 weeks ago. Even though the vendor said the delivery was set last week, I have yet to hear a peep from the vendor and apparently he hasn't been contacted by Hickory Craft. I would never order from this company again. Their service is just too poor. I called the vendor 4 days ago and he has yet to return my call. It isn't as though this is a cheap sectional. I planned all my decor around the sofa. This was the last piece to put on the finishing touches to the room. I was told that I could have my sectional in 6-8 weeks, but the vendor started fudging on that. I should have taken that as a warning that this company does not perform in a timely manner.

Never order again

After 10 weeks of waiting for my sectional, I discovered that they had not even starting making my sectional. They delayed its construction because they said pillow fabric was back-ordered. They did not bother to contact the vendor to give me an opportunity to change my choice of fabric. They just delayed the whole process. If I am lucky, I might get my sectional after waiting for 13 weeks--that is if I get the sofa. I have no idea what the quality will be. I would never order from them again. Their customer service is just too poor. They are making me write 100 words in order for this to go through so I am submitting more guar just to meet that requirement.

Recliner doesn’t support in mid-reclined position

Bought a High leg leather recliner that wouldn’t keep from fully reclining when put in the mid-reclined position-was told by salesmen that’s the way they’re made. I didn’t accept that, evaluated the poor spring with weak tension, for $3.99 I bought a pair of new springs and replaced their inferior, (probably $0.59 cheaper spring), and now their $1,200 recliner stays in place. Too bad they feel so compelled to lower quality and save a few cents BUT weaken their reputation.

You're right I tightened them but slowly moves back. So I will have to replace the springs myself as well .why is ths making me still write more this is a horrible thing, geeze need five more words just to make it post

Not good I would never buy a Hickory Craft Product Again

I haven't tried to contact them because they would just get the run around anyhow. The Couch that we purchase about a year ago, It's a very nice looking couch, for the exception of one thing the Middle Cushion that you sit on is not the same as the other two cushions on the couch. I would like to get a replacement for this cushion because no matter who sits on it it flattens right out. Where as the other two cushions do not. And for the Money we paid for it I expected better Quality. It isn't the store that we bought it from we have bought numerous items from the store and they're just fine. This is the only one that I'am very dissapointed in.

I would never purchase from Hickory Craft again either. They are too dumb.

They delayed the manufacture of my sectional by 2 1/2 weeks waiting for pillow fabric that was back ordered.

Instead of asking me if I wanted to change fabrics, they never contacted me or the vendor. After 10 weeks the sectional had still not been made, and it's projected to be at least 13 weeks before I get the sofa at all.

Well the appearance of the sofa is beautiful but the middle couch cushion never really fit

The middle couch cushion does not fit the couch properly ,at first I thought it was just me, not no matter what cushion you sat on the ends would fit, all for the exception of the middle cushion. Can you tell me how to resolve this problem????? The sofa is not even a year old either.!!! We bought it from a friend who runs the furniture Store we have been doing business with him for years. And I don't feel that it's fault that the sofa is in the condition it's in. What do you want me to right they're only so many words. Poor Craftsman ship that is all I have to say. I am very disappointed in this purchase. Because the Person whom sold it to us is a great friend of ours and he would be horrified if he knew about this.

Our attached cushions are coming unattached at the seams. The store we bought our sectional from, closed doors and I can't get our warranty plan info from there.

There's no customer service # for HC I see? Anyone have one?

Yes I have the same problem. All the couch cushions fit but the middle one.We paid good money for this couch and would like a replacement cushion for this inconvience.

The quality of the furniture is horrible. The furniture was delivered in December 2015 -- it is 9 months old and it is falling apart. We barely use the furniture. The coach cushions are not fitting properly on the coach, the fabric is puckered and we just noticed a month ago that the nail heads are not even lined up straight across the bottom front of the sofa. In addition, the middle top cushion is pulling away from the coach and there is a tear. The ottoman fabric is fraying all around the top border. Now we are looking closely at the chairs and notice all the workmanship errors that were made. We are pushing for a full refund. They can come and get this furniture and I want to start over. I'm embarrassed to have this in my family room.

Absolutely the worst purchase we’ve made, this hickory craft couch is garbage. This was not a cheap couch but the cushions and upholstery are cheap and the back is collapsed.

I would not trust this company’s furniture and will never buy anything that is hickory craft.

The total lack of quality is disturbing. They should should change their name to Hickory Crap!!

I purchased a sectional and it looked nice for about a week. I started noticing horrible workmanship as well.
